Hello, 
      My name is Lynn Mohr...I used to live in Brownton, 
grew up went to High school there. I've been researching my 
family who was from McLeod Co and I wanted to offer my 
services.  I'm currently in the process of transcribing the 
1880 US Census for McLeod co for the USGENWEB project.  I 
do have in my possession the CD with the 1880 Census on it 
for McLeod Co. 
      I would be willing to do free lookups for anyone 
wanting any information off that Census CD.  I may get more 
CD's in the future, but right now this is the only one I 
have.  Once the transcription is complete people should be 
able to get it from the USGenWeb website, but until I have 
it completed I could do the lookups.  And because I'm kind 
of familiar with surnames from the area I might be able to 
find them quicker.

      I would need the surname and first names of the head 
of household and family members from that household.  I can 
probably take two requests per family at one time.  I would 
also need any clues to where in McLeod County the family 
lived.  If they know of the township even better.       
       I live out of state now, so area research is NOT 
possible.  I would do the Census CD lookups though.
